I have been going back and forth about whether to get the Shanny or the AF540FGZII. Yesterday I decided to order the Shanny because the price difference was so great. Then today this happened. I grabbed the deal and hope I like it better than the Shanny because my GAS enjoys Pentax most!

Amusing side note: I just got a message from B&H that an item in my cart had a drop in price. It was the flash and the new price was the $469.95. I put the flash in my cart and purchased it immediately (accessed the cart via PF review of flash) so it is clear that this is a very new price change.

Have this flash and also the AF360fgzii and
a P-TTL ProMaster 7500EDF (updated firmware, and works very well after that)
a P-TTL Yongnuo 585EX for $79 at BH and slightly cheaper at Adorama

If you don't need WR and HSS then you should seriously consider the newer YongNuo 585EX. It is impressive for the price. AFXXXfgzii versions don't have a built in bounce card on them and I sorely miss it. You can stick a visiting card to serve the purpose but hey for that price I might as well have it built in. Also thoroughly check your copy of this flash when you get it. My flash (AF540fgzii) when it was new failed to fire at times at full power and I could not explain why and when. I also have the old 540 and that works very well and has a bounce card along with the diffuser albeit has a slower recharge times than the new version.
