Comparing the prices on the Ricoh site vs B&H which show the instant savings price it looks like the US Ricoh store incorporates the savings but gives no indication that you are getting the savings.

For example the HD PENTAX DA 20-40mm F2.8-4 ED Limited DC WR in silver on B&H with an instant savings of $100 is $696.95 and on the US Ricoh store it is $699.95. Ricoh would sell more direct if they showed which lenses are eligible and the amount of savings.

Currently it seems even the "discounted" price for the 20-40mm is 4% above the recent average price, so I would probably recommend to hold off.

There are other lenses with decent rebates, though, such as the DA* 300mm at B&H:
