This is $250 below their normal price. This is beyond plausibly cheap for a really fantastic budget zoom lens.

Though I don't need one, I'm having a hard time not buying.

Mine came in yesterday.
Not much to say, its a brand new lens with all the accessories.
Now i just have to find something to shoot with it.

not sure if they will again be offering it at the sale price

although it is currently out of stock, you can place an order for it now but at much higher price - $396.95

Just got mine ! Simply couldn't pass it up.
For the time being until I actually have a "NEED" ..... its gonna live in its box.....in the closet.....lol.

I ordered before the price went up but after they ran out of 55-300 lenses.

Mne's in back order too. I talked to a rep last week and he said give it a week and check back to see if they got new ones in. So,, Friday, I'll check in again.

Im with you! Im patiently waiting on a back order, but I can wait for the price paid!

Im also glad to hear that people are receiving these at the price paid. I trust B&H, but I still get nervous that at a price like this, that it was some glitch or error, and orders get cancelled and nothing ships, etc.

but I would love to know how many folks from the forum got this deal

and compare that to the total number of those who purchased the lens at that price

the OP helped out a lot of members by listing the info

Quite possibly I ordered first. When I saw the Post it was only 6 minutes old. I knew it to be such a good deal , I ordered mine within 10 minutes of the price alert !

I got it fairly quickly -- right about the same time that Aslyfox was posting that Amazon was matching the price I was also looking at it on Amazon (wanted to check someone else besides B&H as Adam suggested it might be error). BTW, did anyone check Adorama, etc? Amazon had "1 left" and I bought that one. Received it today, seems to work fine and be good optically, so all is well.

When I ordered mine it said it was in stock but now I got an email saying "We regret to inform you that due to a system error the ordered merchandise is not in stock." They gave me the option of cancelling, but I'm fine waiting for it at that price.
