Thanks for posting this! Almost went for a mind control device (DA15), but in the end decided that for now I need an action cam a bit more (Sony X3000R). Saved over $86 on an already very good price! Now hopefully customs won't kill me when the thing arrives from Hong Kong...

I was seriously thinking about the same thing but decided I couldn't really justify the $1,596.95 investment. I did grab a deal on a new tripod, so thanks to the op for the link.

It looks like a lot of the more desirable used items went quick.. by around 8 or 9 pm there were slim pickings haha. I looked around for an hour around at that time to try to make the coupon work but couldn't find any decent listings by then. I would really like to see the sales figures for yesterday on camera gear alone. It had to have been a huge success for sellers...

I wonder if they'll do it again maybe in November when DST ends? Also does anyone know if they pre-announced this sale to the public or was it a sudden event?

There was no dollar or item limit. Just fill up you cart and checkout.

It did have a $100 limit (for the discount amount), so up to $500 worth of stuff could be discounted.

Bladerunner6 was referencing a previous 2016 offer that offered 20% off with no limit. However, you needed to make a number of sales first to earn the coupon.

I hope they do but since this is first time ever that they did such a big discount, don't know if they will decide it cost them too much to run the promotion again. ebay pre-announced it just the day before I believe. but other times that ebay has run "flash sales" that are, say, $15 off of $75, or $25 off $125, it was fairly sudden and a short window in which to shop (like, 5 hours). I often miss out on those flash sales unless I happen to see an announcement about them pop-up on my RSS news feed (which tracks deal sites like slickdeals and fatwallet)
