I just got this lens for $996 on February 28th. Just called them, and they do in fact have a 30 day price guarantee, and so they will either issue a credit to your card or you can get a non-expiring gift card. I chose that option. Because, uh, you know, I might just be getting something else from them in the future.... ;-}
