Several Pentax lenses are up to $500 or 23% cheaper.

I'm getting a little weary of Adorama's ads and advertising "sales" like they aren't just collections of existing rebates that you could just as well have gotten yesterday from them or anyone else. Especially if they don't even take the effort to put together a page of the best deals and the link just goes to a shop search that returns hundreds (sometimes thousands) of items. (And especially if they make you "scratch off" to reveal the real link. Those are the worst.)

Is this sale any different?

Pretty much the same prices on Pentax lenses that they have had running for at least the last month. I did not check anything else from my Email link that announced this. For that reason, I will not post a good link. Just use the one here and search.

The link I posted (now available in a working variant), however, does not return a ton of results. The results comprise of discounted Pentax lenses only.

If one finds a good offer, it would be worth double checking at B&H, though, whether they don't have an even better offer.

I was on B&H clearing out my Wish List earlier today and I agree - these prices look fairly normal to me. The shocking one I think is the DFA 50/2.8 Macro at $271.xx. That’s a steal, but IIRC it was that price at B&H too.

Amen to that.

I've pretty much given up on Adorama
after they sent me the most expensive new boxed Q lens
in nothing more than a CD envelope.

The box was trashed by the time the package arrived.

Strange, I just got my KP kit and it was in a very large box with lots of those inflated pillow type cushions in it taking up all the room in the box. I still prefer bubble wrap snugly around the contents of a package though, I think things move out from those pillowy things.

doesn't seem that special to me. Seems like B&H have the same prices (or sometimes cheaper)

I was able to fix the link. As for the prices, there don't seem to be any significant movements per our deal finder. B&H has better prices for most lenses:
