LX available at KEH currently

As of this moment anyhow. Likely won't last long. They don't pop up there all too often.
Good source for making sure everything is good in case a return is warranted.

Iím actually happy to see that firm a price on a BGN LX with no lugs or grip and an FA-1 Viewfinder.

KEH is usually scant on details, and with those stock photos that let you see what a "nice" one looks like.
But I wonder if it really has no lugs-clips. I know many sellers, Japanese especially sell them sans lug-clips, but that sure is a bit ridiculous.
The grip is of course optional, but I cannot imagine any LX was ever sold new with no way to attach a strap.

I'm (semi) happy to see it as well, though it's pretty well known that KEH "BGN" is everyone else's Good-to-Very-Good.

KEH leaves NOTHING on their stuff that might be sold separately. If it does not explicitly say "with", one can safely assume "without".

BTW...That is a good deal on the MX...

Gotcha. Makes business sense. And now that I think about it, I saw a pair of strap lugs there a few days ago when I was thinking about picking up another LX (was looking elsewhere - one that also didn't have them). Didn't occur to me to look for the camera there - every time I have in the past 5 years it's been a no-go.

I picked this one up. It came with the FA-1 finder.

The camera was pretty dirty. Lots of dust in between the focus screen and glass. I cleaned as best as possible. I blew out the mirror box with my rocket blower and dropped the focus screen carriage and did the same to get all the bits stuck in between.

The focus screen is a grid one. It has a mark on the upper right corner. Pretty noticeable when looking through the viewfinder.

Not sure if I have what is the onset of sticky mirror syndrome. There is always a quarter to half second delay only on the first shutter release after the camera has been sitting for awhile. Only one side has a circular bumper. The other side has some black stopper looking bumper. After the initial shutter fire the camera works fine. No delay regardless of shutter speed.

Haven't run batteries in it yet but I have tested the mechanical shutter speed. All sound about right.

that delay on the first shutter release is the sticker mirror problem.
