EX Condition Pentax 100mm F/3.5 SMC FA Macro for $119 on KEH

Just thought I'd pass this along...

I was on KEH looking for an ultrawide, but I spotted this which looks to be a pretty sweet price:
Pentax 100mm F/3.5 SMC FA Macro K Mount Autofocus Lens {49} at KEH Camera Store

Didn't find what I was looking for, but if I was in the market for a very sharp macro I would snap this up in a heartbeat. Maybe somebody here might be interested!

Wonder if it is really that good. Certainly not better than any other macros (f2.8s and f4s) out there.

You can find the generic version of that (Promaster, etc) for less than that often (half that sometimes). $119 seems about right if you want to pay for the Pentax name.

I have one I like. Autofocus is loud and sloppy, like a F-series lens, and it’s not as solid as the other Pentax offerings, but the image quality is nice...
