That sold for a lot more than I expected, and that H2 "needs repair".
Now I think my 'working' KM 見本品 (sample article) is worth a lot more than I thought

The H2 is worth more simply because it heralded the first commercial entry for Asahi into the USA. Also, the early H2/S2 variant was less common than latter versions and the number of store demonstrators produced is likely to be very low (1000 or less). Lastly, 'black' store demonstrators are likely to be even rarer with the 'rule of thumb' being that 10% of cameras produced back then were black - so maybe only 100 exist?
I got one recently as a buy it now (ps - did not hesitate when I say it). I have not seen a black one before and it has been quite some time since I have seen one full stop. It would be fair to say that these store demonstrators are among some of the rarest of all Asahi cameras out there.

These do not show up often. But it did go for a bit more than expected?

A black K with the rare black Auto-Takumar went for about the same.
