Ordered one as well. My card has been charged though. I thought that I wonn't be charged before dispatching the order.
Anyway, hope that the deal will be valid and I will get the KP at really bargain price.

It is quite interesting - the price seems to be to low to be true - Jeff - could you please let us know if you were able to buy the KP at the price listed? Did they charge your card just after your order?

I haven't checked my card but will do so tonight. Yes the price is low but it is Jessops - well known and respected UK camera shop with high street stores.
Sometimes these big shops do incredible deals. I bought my K5iis (new) from them for £319 in June 2015 - I think it was the last stock they had. When they go low, they low...
When they have enough stock they'll order the units from Japan is my guess... I doubt they are sitting in a warehouse in the UK.

What's bizarre is that they are still listing the camera body at £999 - is this an attention test or has somebody paid them to shift 18-50s ?

I don't think we will ever fathom the business mind! One also doesn't know what involvement Ricoh has with this deal... I suspect it isn't just Jessops subsidising this as a loss leader...
