Yes, the Camera & Photo category is specifically excluded from today's coupon. If you can find an item listed in a different category (possibly incorrectly) it should still work. Pentax binoculars for instance can also be found in the sporting goods section.

Adam, I agree that a new thread would have been best but I didn't find the code until there was only 3-hours left. I wanted to let others take advantage but was concerned a new thread may not be approved quickly enough (of course some of you administrators are on the west coast). If there is a new code today as indicated by catwalk, it should certainly go in a new thread.

Adam, thanks for the clarification. When I had started a thread previously in the "Pentax Price Watch" category it needed administrator approval to be posted. I guess it was because I was a new member at the time, rather than it being a category specific requirement. Thanks again!

I suspect on the actual prime day, 16 and 17th, there may be some similar deals on the KP for those looking to get a good deal on a wonderful camera. Let us hope so for the sake of the GAS suffering folks who missed that deal.

I think You very well might be right on this one. I had problems with my credit card being declined on my order for the KP and it took forever with Amazon and my Bank to get it straightened out last night.
In the process the Lady I was in communication with Muttered something to this effect also , about an allocation possibly being available only to "Prime" members first , and if any were left over they could go to regular "Peons" like me on the 16th on Prime Day !

Prime day (and the KP deal from yesterday) is for Prime members. If you don't have Prime you won't have access to most (or any?) of the deals.

If you do a lot of online shopping it pays for itself- if you have the amazon store card (or visa), you'll get the membership cost back after buying $2400 worth of stuff, just through the 5% cash back amazon-wide. If you tack on the promotions and signup bonus, it can happen ever faster.
