Pentax HD DA 55-300mm f/4.5-6.3 ED PLM WR RE Lens $315 Amazon

This is the best deal I've seen so far - why does this lens fluctuate so much in price?

I bought it and immediately resold it, it didn't satisfy me the 6x focal range, the noisiness and last but not least the 6.3 luminosity at 300mm,

maybe for these reasons it varies in price, much better the Pentax 60-250.

What? Are you sure they sent you the right lens?

?

You knew beforehand it was 6x range and f6.3, why did you order it?

There's no noise, it has its own motor.

Sorry I confused it with the SMC Pentax-DA 55-300mm F4-5.8 ED, well don't tell me it's noiseless.

These are mistakes that only become apparent after you have tried it, if you have tried it before, certainly not.

Well that is a completely different lens than the one that this thread is about... and it's a 5.8 lens but you specifically were complaining about the f/6.3.

It almost makes it sound like you never had either lens and you just wanted to come in here and say bad things about Pentax...

You may be right, but even on the forum is highlighted that one of the negative factors is the noise level or poor reliability of autofocus.
In general I don't like zooms over 3x with a few exceptions, (Canon EF 28-300mm f/3.5-5.6 L IS USM). I prefer fixed focal length lenses.

Are you immune from mistakes?
And then, regard to the second statement I can not answer, sometimes the best criticism comes from within, or do you have to hide something?

I think you should just declare you made a mistake and not debate with Christian about it.

No one likes whining, Maw.

Excuse clakers,

Not a complaint, I answered see above, but I was the subject of an attack for a simple and trivial mistake and I explained why, but ChristianRock, exaggerated ... a phrase so you would accept it?
If I weren't pentaxian I wouldn't be in the forum, also say that I'm a spy..., better let go.

He entered in the discussion because he wanted or had to say some stupidity or throw petrol on the fire and not to comment seriously.
I responded cordially both to Adam and you about my lens mistake, but ChristianRock exaggerated.

I am sorry that this has happened here, but it is not my fault.

It is your fault, Maw, please don't complain about somebody else as an attempt at facesaving, because that's what you tried to do.

We're adults.

well all I really wanted to know was why prices fluctuate nearly $100 up and down over the few weeks I've been coveting this lens. The reviews are pretty fabulous.

I already wrote it then you did not read the post.

But a sentence like this is clearly provocative.

I'm done with this thread.

Seeing somebody criticize another because they pointed out they were wrong is very educational about their personality, sadly.
