It's a shame that tamron's G2 version didn't came out for pentax. I got the 24-70 and 70-200 G2 for my nikon d750 for around $1000 each

At this price I would rather buy the real thing than some off brand geez2.

The "real thing" is more than the double of the price... (Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 70-200mm f/2.8E FL ED VR Lens)

If you got the money... go for it!

BTW this some "off brand geez2" is the one that is rebranded as genuine Pentax lenses... only without stabilization and a higher price
