I was looking to buy a KP and the price was $1049 CDN before tax.
This morning August 1st, I was looking for other stuff on Amazon.ca and the KP silver was $805 CDN , now $802 equivalent to $600 US, I jump on it without any hesitation.

Thanks for the heads up. That is a better deal than the $699.95 US lightning deal they offered here on the black version. No shipping to the US though, as I get the message "This item does not ship to your selected location".

There's gotta be a new top of the line APS-C body coming soon, if the prices are falling to almost half of what the body was costing when introduced!

Those are great deals for such a great little camera. The silver version is gorgeous, too.

This were I was suppose to buy until Amazon made that deal this morning, $247 saving or 23%

And I buy it with my Costco Mastercard carddoubling warranties , now 4 years instead of 2 (Pentax Canada Warranties is 2 year not one like in the USA)

Damn Sliver, here I though you were a California surfer dude. The wedding I shot a month or two ago was in London, and I was quite tempted to drop into Camera Canada, but time did not permit.

I dont know if you can have it ship to a Canada post office along the border for people leaving close to it. Their no duty for photo equipment going into USA.
Amazon.ca offer to ship to Canada post depot when you place order, not different than us Canadian when we order stuff in the USA, we can ask them to ship to a post office or a border depot in the USA.

Nope I made that Username when I was working with wood(carving and custom furniture) My sports are Fishing and Nature hiking. The brick store affiliate that has a tonne of Pentax gear is Forest City Image Centre Right downtown.

If you buy direct from Camera Canada they'll ship to the U.S. I just bought a camera from them a month ago, sadly not a Pentax. Shipping was kind of steep but was very quick.

The deal I got is not with Camera Canada but Amazon Canada.
