I thought McBain is one of the big camera stores in Alberta.... but the picture of the lens (DA*16-50) does not match the actual lens (DA*50-135) in description. Nonetheless, I have the DA*50-135 lens, it is one of my favourite lens for stage photography and of course, that is a great price.

Saw that and felt the strong pull of LBA Norm! That would be about 410USD to ship to me. Sooooo tempting!

I wouldn't think that it would be gray market - I think it's the seller you buy it from, not necessarily the country of origin.
Your warranty would probably be through McBain though.. idk - no real clue

Thanks for the quick reply, but in the meantime I found it at photoprice.ca: Warranties: US? Canada? Grey Market?

It looks like even grey market Pentax products are covered by US warranty (if this site is legit)
