Adorama sells on eBay so this is a good way to save $100 on the new 50mm lens.

Nice, but the lens I made an offer on received an unreasonable counter and then sold for too much. I need to stay away from this rampant LBA/GAS triggering site!

Thanks for the heads up! I went straight to eBay after reading your notice and pulled the plug on the D FA 28-105mm that never seems to go on sale. I've been watching this lens for some time because it will be perfect for a cemetery documentation project I will be working on, and for an upcoming trip overseas. I bought it from Adorama's eBay page and saved $74.54 ($422.41) . . . and it was the last one they had in stock.

Only 30 minutes left on deal. Couldn't find anything camera related I needed (or could justify), so picked up a floor jack instead. Just need to put a Pentax sticker on it now.
