Looks like it could have been dug up at the beach almost. At least the listing is honest:

SMC Pentax-A 50mm 1:1.2 Super Fast Lens For Pentax LX, ME Super Etc Cameras | eBay

Always wonder what the story is behind something like this.

Looks like it had lengthy submersion.

At least it doesn't say "EXCELLENT+++ MINT" like so many listings for iffy stuff does nowadays.
Yeah, I actually wondered if they had cleaned it of barnacles!

Seller is in India, which probably explains the fungus.

Really does look like someone threw it into their rock tumbler kit.

So, it's got what looks like a chipped inner element and corrosion in keeping with water exposure. Wonder what it fell out of, bounced off of, and landed in and how long it sat before being fished out?

I like how they diligently included so many sample photos. The focusing and aperture rings are shown from 3 different angles. Would anyone look at 1 angle, showing half the body, and wonder what the other side looked like?

The aperture is listed as working. If someone needs parts for another lens maybe the blades can be salvaged. Soak the donor aperture in fungicide first.

It's so gross, for $10, almost want to buy it just to see it first hand.
