Pentax HD PENTAX D FA 150-450mm f/4.5-5.6 DC AW Lens 21340 B&H

I'm so tempted by this right now...

I was saying a week ago if the price ever dropped below $1750...
NOW IT HAS!

haha that's what I keep telling myself...

What can I get away with on my credit card?
... not worth it.

If it's $1750 now, it will be $1750 later. Even if it takes another year or two!

True... I have seen some on the marketplace for less than this.

I actually have NEVER purchased a new camera lens, so this was appealing to me as an icebreaker!

I'm hoping so!!

So far I got her favorite food truck in town to come, a little funky 2-piece band, a 60' bounce house obstacle course, a harry potter themed yard game setup as the Tri-Wizard tournament...

I'm just praying it all goes as planned! lol
Hope you have an EMT on site for the O-course!

I'm trying to not spend money. This makes it very difficult.

If Pentax users are unwilling to buy high quality equipment for the prices we see here at B&H or on the marketplace I can understand Ricoh's slowness in releasing new FF lenses. We should not spend beyond our means but there must be some Pentax users who can afford this gear. It is cheaper or no more expensive than much equivalent equipment from other sellers.
