Safari could not open the page because too many redirects occurred. Yikes.

Btw what about a FA* 24mm f2 new for 500$? Is it worth buying? Along with the 28-70?

He has a lot of FA* lenses too brand new! Have you seen his page?

He has a couple of FA* lenses brand new for 500$. Are those worth buying?
The asking prices for the range of items seem to be all over the place, to me. Some appear to be good (eg the allegedly brand new FA*28-70) while others (eg the pre-owned FA31 Limited) are quite high.

Do you think the seller is fake?
Now, there’s a question. The pricing variability and the lack of detailed photos suggest great caution should be exercised, while the rating suggests otherwise. Put the two together and I’d probably be thinking I would look elsewhere. Thank heavens I have all the lenses I want, from the offerings there.

That’s the strategy I adopted when I started my collection. LBA, though, is never quite satisfied. Just when I thought my collection was complete, along comes the D FA50/1.4!

Possibly. I have the FA77/1.8 Limited, which will take a lot of beating. Admittedly, current FA*85/1.4 owners might feel differently.

Very Fishy ad. If I were a Gazillionaire I wouldn't buy it listed like it is.
Very poor ad and description at best.
Pass.
He has lots of Canon and Pentax with very poor images and very high prices.

I note that the ad also brings up a number of other A 50/1.2 lenses at varying prices. A lot of them don't show the serial number though.

But you need that extra fraction of f stop, extra couple of aperture blades, and that A mode ability!!!

I have known eBay accounts be hacked before. Usually the hacker uses low prices to attract buyers, and often has a link or e-mail to purchase outside eBay. However, it does seem strange that an eBay store that seems to specialize in animated character items would suddenly have a load of photographic equipment in its other category.

That's a legendary lens, along with the A*! These legends have no equal! The DFA* 85mm has a lot of pressure on it's shoulders! It needs to be better! Than these two, other manufacturers don't matter at this focal length. Because 85mm is Pentax's home turf!

Get a DFA*50 instead, it's a better deal.
Exactly... Now that the D-FA* is available I would bother at the old 50s any more.

Especially since Adorama has a Demo DFA 50 for less than this person is asking for the A!
