Get a DFA*50 instead, it's a better deal.

Looks a little weird with those tiny images, lack of info, and no box.

About three times what I’d assess was a fair price, and I have one of these.

I says " brand-new, unused, unopened..." Must have opened something to get the lens out to take pics of. Over-priced and slightly suspicious.

Interesting collectible if it actually comes with the packaging. IIRC these remained in production for a few years after the move to Vietnam so it might not be that special. Purely as a collectible, it would need a Japan box and all the interior foam or cardboard materials, plastic bags and papers to be desired by a collector.

My A50/1.2 is a beater that I had CLA’ed and refinished and I’m still in below market. As a user this one might be worth $400 - $450 in perfect mechanical and cosmetic condition.

At least twice what it’s worth if it is in excellent condition.

Agreed. I couldn't find any other photography items looking back through the sellers feedback history (several pages), so may not be that knowledgeable about the lens. Feedback score is 99.7%, so not perfect either.

I thought so too, but after I saw the seller rating! I thought it wasn't that fishy!

Btw what about a FA* 24mm f2 new for 500$? Is it worth buying? Along with the 28-70?

If it is a brand new item in the packaging, why are there no pictures of said packaging? I can only wonder what is going on.

Perhaps it's brand new . . . . . . . to the current owner.
