Those who didn't yet watched Angry Ken's video on youtube about Tokina version, he is very impressed by its sharpness and bokeh but upset because of price and weight

I had been hoping for something like this, and my gut is we won't see lower for awhile. B+H was amazingly fast, and the lens landed in my hands yesterday. Nasty bleak rainy day, so didn't do much, but of the few snaps I took, all I can say is wow. Really wow.

I bought mine at the 1095 price but B&H says they will refund the difference. Always good to deal with them!

To all who purchased this amazing lens during the sale period, I just wanted you to know you are about to be blown away. I just received mine today and am already blown away by it's sharpness, bokeh, autofocus speed and accuracy, and overall image quality! This lens is a game changer. Sure it is heavy, but if that is the only trade off, I am ecstatic!!! Congrats to all who took advantage of this all time low price.

I actually bit earlier in the month at B&H for $1097. I emailed them last Friday and the refunded the $100. The lens is unbelievable. Well worth the weight and price.
