Humble Bundle - Photography
Posted By: SirTomster, 12-26-2018, 03:57 PM

Humble Bundle has a Photography Bundle now on sale for the next 2 weeks.

Humble Software Bundle: Professional Photography (pay what you want and help charity)

Pay $1 and get:

Photo Mirage & Photolemur

Pay more than the average (Currently $13.71) and get:
Above titles plus
Paint Shop Pro 2019
CameraBag Pro

Pay $25 or more and get:
Above titles plus
Imerge Pro
ACDSee Photo Studio Ultimate 2018
Aurora HDR 2018

I have never used these titles except Paint Shop Pro a long time ago. So no clue if worth it. Hopefully others can comment and provide details about the software.

Cool. Bought the basic kit to try it out, it asks for some subscription, just remove it and pay for whatever amount you opted for. You will get confirmation email, follow instructions to get your keys.

I downloaded Photo Mirage and Photolemur. I like the water flow effect that can be created from a still image using Photo Mirage. Photolemur - hmm, I prefer working with Photoshop, may be a quick fix this will be a good option, it outputs photos that are punchy in colors.

Yeah, I posted that a year ago. Someone commented on it recently to push it up.

I added the new bundle to the thread that has a few days left.

This one appears to be for Luminar. So for those that do not pay $9.99 a month for the Adobe Subscription.

You might look into the Topaz Lab tools. I purchased the DeNoise AP and Mask AI on their 25% off sale.

The sale is supposed to be done but it is still running. Plus coupon code "pentaxuser" gets you an additional 15% off (after the first 25%, so not really 40%)

There is another thread on that sale.

Agree that Topaz DeNoise would be good to also have with your baseline of Lr and Ps. You can do a free trial with their software too.

I'm kind of familiar with Topaz (heard of it), but what would the added benefit be next to LR and PS?

The two products I use the most are their DeNoise and Clarity. I find both of these do well, especially the DeNoise products - I have both DeNoise 6 and then their AI DeNoise. I feel I get better results more easily than I can in Lr on the noise reduction, and for whatever reason, I feel their Clarity tool works well/easily. Here's the article on PF that got me first looking at Clarity. It does a nice rundown:
