I have one of these filters I bought for the 55-300 PLM. The filter is ok but it has a knurled edge that makes it tough to get the hood over. That being said I just ordered five of these at this price. 49mm really come in handy and that is a size they have in stock.

Ordered two of them. They're probably not superb but at that price why not?

Did you ship them directly to Canada? It's showing $31 shipping (USD) for FedEx International Priority to Ontario, taking a bit of a bite out of the "buy even though I don't really need it" urge.

I have one of these. I am quite pleased with the quality. I would pay 10X the current sale price and be happy with it.

Then you need to buy a few more.

I ordered two more for different lenses. Great deal, wish there were 67mm available though.

No, I have family in Florida, coming back in one month. It's worth the wait.

It's actually a good timing for purchasing polarizers. I had been looking at buying one for my new 28-105, and had already purchased a step-down ring to also use it on my FA20-35. I had been looking at a 80$ CAD polarizer. The current MeFoto purchases were each cheaper than the step-down ring, and reviews on the web suggest they are actually pretty darn good! I look forward to testing them.

Looking forward to a thorough test report as we have come to expect from you! seriously though, your opinion on gear you test has a lot of relevance here since most sites ignore something a budget minded Pentax shooter might be interested in purchasing.

It won't be a full review of course, but as you say, I do have a habit of testing my gear. I'll be comparing sharpness with and without the filters, polarizing power, etc.

I didn't think about it when buying, but maybe I should have purchased two of each side, and created a varying ND filter

The free shipping is off now, but still a great deal. I ordered two more, my first order will be delivered today. They also have some similarly priced UV filters for those that use them.
