500mm F8 Tamron SP for $120 · 08:24 PM

I admit I don't know much about this but man, this thing looks like a tank. $120 seems like a damn good deal for such a huge lens, even if it is old, manual and seen its fair share of use. It's not the kind of lens I'm looking for but I'm sure one of you rare lens hunters would find interest in this. It's in Chicago. It includes an old case, the caps and 4 filters. If I were in the market for it I'd pick it up in a heartbeat.

It's an old mirror lens. Fixed aperture and rather quirky rendering of out-of-focus highlights. They do tend to be pretty cheap. Fun though

Not everyone likes mirror lens, but some others love them.

And this Tamron 55b is one of the best. $120 is a very good price if the glass and mirror are clean.
