The Australian dollar has slipped to 68c of a US$. (Not so long ago it was $1.10 US) Not a good buy for me right now, but thanks for the tip.

The thread title makes it look like the set is a A lens series version. In the photos in the ad the set doesn't have the electric contacts on the mount so it is the K lens series version. I don't think Pentax made an A series version.

Correct. Auto in this case just refers to the aperture lever being in the tubes.

Not so long? It's been about 8 years (in 2011) since the AUD came anywhere close to USD 1.10.
