Just a heads up that B&H has the hard to find and highly recognized Sigma 70mm f2.8 EX DG macro on their used site, for those that might be interested.

Same here. I have 50, 90, and 105 as well as bellows and close-up rings, but still hard to resist. I have wanted one since I went low and bought my Sigma 50/2.8 EX DG Macro. The 70mm ($$$) was what I really wanted.

There are two now, one with the hood and the other without, both EX. I'm surprised the difference is only $14, I'd think the original hood is worth more, even if it is the fiddly screw type.

"fiddly" implies that it may only occasionally be a pain to work with....

it's almost as bad as the hood on the Tamron Adaptall 17mm....

That's a big gap between 35 and 105. A 70 fits into the middle very nicely.

As weird as it could sound I dont use this 105mm much.
It is either 35 or 200...
