I have to laugh because they have a DA 12-24 for $299 that I bought a few weeks ago and found that it was sharp only in the center third of the frame, outside of that very blurry. I returned it and emailed them a sample photo and despite the evidence that the lens is defective they promptly relisted it for sale.

Congratulations, I hope it turns out to be a good copy. My purchases from KEH have mainly been 'bargain' grade, and have turned out to be better than expected in most cases.

I certainly do too. I bought my KP there in EX+ condition. It certainly looked new and less than 800 clicks.

Though I'm sure there's a lot more variation in optics, as mentioned by luftfluss. I'll cross my fingers for now....
