I thought the same thing, but after looking around for awhile, I figured it was just sloppy wording. B&H has a similar package and it is the camera that's silver. The 18-135 lens is "normal" looking.

Oh well. It was exciting for a bit to think there was another silver lens out there.

Congrats on getting one while still available. Have had the 28-105 since it came out, I don’t think you will be disappointed, some reviewers have rated it better than the 24-70.

I'm glad your lens arrived in one piece! I wouldn't be surprised to see that from them. They could of at least wrap some more bubble wrap around the lens..

The lens bounced freely inside the shipping box. No manual, no soft case at all. I may test the lens out to see if I like it enough before adding extra $ to buy the brand new one and return this. So far I like the sharpness this lens delivers.
