Pentax KP price for Black Friday at Camera Canada

Pentax KP price for Black Friday at Camera Canada · **1 Like**

Hi all,

I've asked Camera Canada about the price of the KP body only for Black Friday and they told me that it will be priced 899$CAD (~680$USD) including the small, medium and large grip. The sale should start on Nov. 28th and end Dec 2nd. They don't plan to have BF prices on lenses.

I thought that I'd shared this with you guys.

I'm looking to replace my K50 with the KP. My K50 will go to my sun, and his K50 (which has the solenoid plague) will flow down to my daughter. I'm working on the next generation of Pentaxian!

I just had to repair my son's K-50 solenoid after 14,920 shots recently. It cost about 73 USD in Poland. In Canada - do you already know how much it would cost?

I must admit that I didn’t tried to find out. I’m planning to find a spare solenoid and replace it myself. So far, I only found green solenoid at a decent price. Not much white ones on the market.

Since I, around 2013 alone, but with great fear, I repaired my Pentax K20 (including: it was necessary to solder a wire with a horse tail hair thickness), I do not try to open cameras anymore

After amazon.ca had it for 750 cad that's the price I wait for, 899 is a good deal non the less.

Why you guys in North America always get better deal? It better than in Japan. Last time I order a bag from the US. Including shipping and it is still cheaper than the same one on Amazon Japan.

KP is nicely discounted for 6 months or so. This Canadian offer is good.

I too have a KP and I demoted my K50 to backup.
The KP is a wonderful camera to grow with.
I really enjoy mine. Good Luck!

Thank you! Just hope that I will enjoy the grip. I’m planing to make one in wood in case I don’t like the provided grip.

That being said, it was such an incredible price but it was worth even more. I would have gladly paid the current discounted price if it had been available then, now knowing how much I enjoy the KP.
