Have been watching Amazon UK the past few days slowly reduce the price of the black and silver KP, the silver has gone from £949 to £649 then steadily dropped over the past 48hrs to £578.91, the black is £699. Just wondering what they are doing with the silver version and as it's lowest it's been in the UK it may be time to bite the bullet and get one.

For any UK people here's the link :
Pentax KP Digital SLR Camera - Silver: Amazon.co.uk: Camera & Photo

Typical......I buy it at the above price and it drops to £571.85

Now down to £547.95

Old habits.......

I'm returning mine tomorrow and re-ordering, the Amazon lady basically told me return and order again when you think the price is the cheapest, currently at £516.57 which is £62 less than I paid for it.
Did you buy at the lowest price?

Missed the boat on the silver one, it was down to £489 on Sunday night so I thought I'd wait until Monday morning only to see it up to £515.....then £538

They're still playing the up and down game with the black currently £526 and the silver up to £555

Just bought the black one for £562.57. An hour later the price is creeping back up. Currently £584.37 which is still an amazing bargain.

Yup! It's a store like any other BUT P&P may be extortionate! You may also have to pay some sort of tax on it when it enters your country, and there may be custom fees on top of that. You'll need to check that out your own customs policies for that side of things.

Just head to www.amazon.co.uk rather than your usual amazon address and check it out - you might need to sign in/up again, but you shouldn't have any problems apart from that!

Yes, I enter the site with my account without problems.
As for import taxes, before the Brexit there was none, now I should check.
The last item I purchased in the US was normally taxed, if UK products are equally charged I would have no convenience in buying tin the UK.

Yes, as cprobertson1 said.
No problem with taxes and customs in EU till the end of 2020. And PP looks reasonable in EU, around 10GBP.
Just check if they ship to your country - put it into basket and go to checkout and you will see shipping cost if they do.
It looks like they don't ship everywhere. Ie, they ship to Slovakia and don't ship to Czech republic 🤷

They do ship to Italy, but when I reached the final step of the procedure the price had gone from 655 euros to 701 euros. I did not like that and I stopped.

The silver KP went up to £949 last week and has stayed there, the black one has dropped as low as £526 but then shot up to £779, it has since fluctuated between £550 and £600. As of now 19.21 GMT it is at £638.....who knows what Amazon will do with it next.
