While looking at prices of used Pentax cameras and lenses, I accidentally found that the Pentax K1 bundle price is very good. Currently only 1789 for a K1 Mk II body, and a D-FA 28-105 (great lens, versatile small and sharp), and an HD-FA 35 f2. If I compute the price of each separate item, that make the K1 mk II for 1200 or 1300 new! That's a great price for a 36Mp FF camera with all the Pentax features (ibis, astro, pixel shift, hhps etc). I wished I didn't already have a K1II.

I haven't point the link, not knowing if this is allowed here. Just go to srs website, check for Pentax cameras, it's straightforward. I guess these are bundles not available at all large retailers. The bundle increases the value/price ratio, but on the other hand it's more money in total. The value of the deal depends on what we already have.

I found their UK site at 1999.99 pounds. Is there a US equivalent site with it at $1789?

have to read the description: include a free HD FA35 f2 for the 1789 pounds price or free DFA28-105 and free FA 35mm for 1999 pounds. For the same as amazon prices in EU, SRS gives you one or one and a half lens, that's not bad. I suppose the smart way to proceed is you buy the bigger bundle and re-sell the glass that is redundant with your existing Pentax lens collection. A quick calculation looking at market prices for bodies and lenses tells me that it could make a K1 mk II new (0 shutter actuation with guarantee) cost only 1500 euros, that sounded like a good deal to me. Of course that operation would require to find a buyer for the redundant lenses, if redundant.
