Pentax Prime Day Deals - 25% off K-1 II, K-70, GR III, 70-200mm, 55-300mm and more
Posted By: Adam, 10-12-2020, 01:18 PM

It looks like Amazon has some very nice deals for Prime Day exclusively for Prime credit card holders. These are already live and end on October 18th, while supplies last!

The full list of cameras that are part of the promotion can be found below. You may need to click through this offer to receive the discount:

Prime Card Bonus Offer

Note- these discounts come in the form of rewards (redeemable for cash back, Amazon credit, or a statement credit) on your Amazon Prime credit card. Those, in turn, require a Prime membership.

I'm not sure if the financing offer can be combined with the cash back, but if it can please do let us know!

"Amazon Prime Store Card: Limited time offer while supplies last and subject to credit approval. Get additional rewards on eligible purchases made using your Amazon Prime Store Card, excluding purchases made through Subscribe and Save, Installments, Prime Wardrobe, and Amazon Fresh. The percent back amount stated in the promotional offer includes the 5% back you already earn on amazon purchases with your Amazon Prime Store Card, and the extra percent back you can earn with this promotion. Offer only applies to the portion of net qualifying purchases (purchases less returns and other credits) of eligible items paid for with an Amazon Prime Store Card at Amazon. Any portion paid using another payment form (including, but not limited to, gift cards and rewards points) may not receive the percentage back bonus. Offer may not be combined with any Special Financing or Equal Pay offers. Offer does not apply to shipping charges, taxes or other fees associated with the purchase of an eligible product. Please allow up to two billing cycles (a) for your earned rewards points to be credited to your amazon.com Store Card or Amazon Prime Store Card account and (b) if you elect to redeem your rewards points as a statement credit, for such statement credit to be applied to your Amazon Store Card or Amazon Prime Store Card account. Offer is non-transferable and may not be resold. If any products related to the offer are returned, your refund will equal the amount you paid for the product, subject to applicable refund policies. If you violate any of these terms, the offer will be invalid. Amazon reserves the right to modify or cancel the offer at any time."

hrrr... this means I cannot get both?

Camera + 28-105 is only available on 16th.

That makes sense. Its either or I guess, same as with regular purchases where you go for either cash back or the financing.

Darn it. I have an Amazon Prime VISA and a couple things here are really tempting, K1 mk2 or the DFA 15-30 zoom but I wish I knew The specs of the K-New. I just bought a DA* 50-135 last month (because Adam linked to hot deal) as an additional investment in APS-C tech figuring I’d go to the K-New next.

BTW, the DA*50-135 a wonderful lens.

10% back for the D-FA 70-200 2.8 if you choose the one sold by Amazon. I wish they had a deal on the 24-70!

It is amazing. One of the best reasons to stay APS-C, if you ask me. I'd take that over a K-1 deal any day.

Click the “Prime card bonus offer” link in Adam’s post, I assume if you are not a prime member you may not see the 25% notice, but the price before the cash back is what is listed. This is a great deal if something you need/want is there.

As ramseybuckeye mentioned, you need to click the link. You also have to have an Amazon-branded credit card to be eligible. The prices are "full price", but you get X% cash back on your credit card after the fact (they say up to 2 statement cycles). It cannot be combined with the payment plan option as you must choose the % back during checkout. See this screenshot for an example.

The GR III is sold out as of now, but if you're thinking of buying that camera, I'd watch for it through the 18th, because that's a sweet price for a GR III.
