There is a (surprise?) 15% sale on the Pentax Australia web site at the moment. No K3iii even listed at this stage unfortunately.

Offer valid Thursday 1 April until Monday 5 April 2021.
No coupon codes required. Discounts already applied.
*Excludes RICOH branded products.

Most items are out of stock, but they still honour the sale prices on backorders.

I went looking for K3 III prices yesterday, the CRK FB page indicated they're working on it.

I got the discount email and bought me a new lens already.

I have another four days to spend more too, could be an expensive Easter.

Which lens? Something to match with the K3iii? The DA* 11-18 is attractive, but I don't really NEED it; happy with the DA 15 on APS-C. Otherwise, I'm pretty well set up for crop shooting.

I went with black, to go with my DFA150-450 and my DA* lenses. The only silver DA's I have are the 35 Limited and 40 Limited.

Easier to camouflage too....

But a silver camera with black lens looks fine. So I'm torn. It would be a nice change from my K5/K3/K1 to go for Silver this time.

This is a bad bad bad thread........ mmmm black for me.... but I ended up ordering a silver one.... go figure... so no bread oven now it seems..

Will now sell one of my K1s..... this K3iii will replace my need for the 2nd K1.... and I know I'll get a K1iii when it happens anyhow.

My excuse is that I turn 60 this year.... so happy birthday to me.... a bit of a stretch to November though.
