Note the price shown is a bid (and a steal if it stays that low) - it can go higher.

The screw that holds the tripod mount to the lens body appears to be bent. It could just be loose though.

And is the aperture control lever askew? Hard to tell if it's the angel of the picture or not.

It looks OK in the other pictures. Also in one of the other pictures it's obvious that the coin operated bolt isn't tight, so it's hoped that the big screw is straight, and just loose.

Dang, There goes the low price! Lol.

Having a bit of an addiction for this lens I have been watching the listing and in touch with the seller.. Don't mind sharing the info I asked and received.

Me...

HI,
A few questions please .Does the lens autofocus properly? Does the aperture ring smoothly turn... looking in as you twist the ring you should see the blades of the aperture open and close smoothly. Does it have any fungus or haze? You can shine a bright led flashlight into the lens with the aperature ring set to 4.5 .. it should be very clear.. no haze or spiderweb appearance. Thank you.

Reply took a few days..

Hi there. Sorry for the delay in response. Yes. ring moves smoothly. I see the aperture open and close as I turn ring. No haze. Looks very clear to me under bright light. Hope that helps! LMK if you have any other questions (with clear directions like this time!!! :O)
I'm always leary of buying from non- Camera knowledgeable sellers... its a gamble. At least this seller seems willing to answer questions.

Haven't decided if I will throw my hat in the Ring yet...Probably won't as I already have the lens.

Im hoping whoever bought it is a member here and sees this thread.Im dying to know how the optics and autofocus are on it. Its getting harder and harder to find a good one that doesn't require a mortgage.
