Give me money... That's darn pricey at 4000 pounds!

Looks like the one for sale in the marketplace is still there, too. Unless they are one and the same lens... @tomkeet ?

Once upon a time it was my dream lens. Now it's just too big and too heavy.

They've gotten even bigger and heavier than when released?

The photons tend to add up over the years.

I've gotten to be considerably weaker.....

There's a reason people retire at 65... eventually, it's hardly worth paying them.

It's a very clean version, certainly looks nice and a 1yr warranty, ad doesn't mention the Travel Trunk though.

I say just buy it......

Not. A. Chance.
I've bought two new heat treatment kilns recently. Now I'm getting the shed wired up to cope with their power demands....

Bit offtopic,

But, are they for a forge??? or ceramics??

Still, think it's a nice one. The Lens that is. Getting it to Oz would be an expensive exercise.

They are for steel. A fancy 32 Amp kiln for kitchen knives, and a more basic (but 45" long!) 20 Amp kiln for swords
If you're interested to see what I get up to, look HERE

It's a beautiful lens to use, but unless your arm muscles are like the 'Rock' the chances are you will need a tripod with a gimbal head.
