I have Javascript and cookies enabled, although for websites I visit casually, like BH's just then, I use Private Browsing which deletes any cookies on leaving. I do have some ad blockers which they probably noticed, but ad blockers block the loading of third party stuff (or the owner's own stuff if they are silly enough to make it look like third party stuff), not the primary content of the web page, even if it is an advert itself.
My point was that it is stupid for someone trying to sell stuff to put any obstacle between their advert and the viewer. My going to their web page should have been something for them to be pleased about, not to throw up obstacles. It is different for something like a news web site where third party ads are their main source of income.
