Probably in better condition than "Used Acceptable". If I weren't camera-rich I'd absolutely be thinking about this one.

Just got the camera today. No box but looks like it had everything else and the book. Haven't opened up the package yet for the book as I got home late but I did manage to take a few pictures. Luckily I cropped one so I had a jpeg to upload. That jpeg showed a shutter count of 2!!. Brand new camera it seems, unless cropping a photo messes with the counts. It still has the protective cover on the top and the back screen.

I have one of those $1100 K3III's coming Monday to use as a second cam for action stuff. Here's hoping the one I receive is just as pristine as yours.

Well, I told my wife I had a used K-1 MII coming in tomorrow. In my excitement over finding a backup K-3 III under $1200 I might have failed to mention a camera coming in today. Perhaps she won't notice??

I was smart enough to prep for an exit strategy and softer landing, commenting to my wife this morning that photography is much less costly than buying a boat or a new truck, or even playing golf. She agreed.

Got it about 10 minutes ago. Ran the shutter count and it is...

Zero.

Screens still have the plastic covering them, all accessories still sealed in plastic, everything that should be there is, including the manual. Absolutely no evidence it had ever been used or handled.

No original package, the kit was packed in a generic brown box so I've no idea where it came from. I'm more than happy with it.
