I have had that on on my screen a couple times recently over at B&H. I bet they are trying to get me to make a move! Not a bad price.

It was on my wishlist and your review definitely sold me. The D FA 100mm WR is just lackluster with it's manual focus handling. My favorite macro lenses, are just 100% manual and have smooth throws, that I just prefer to use over an AF design. I'm going to keep my eye out for a Laowa 100mm 2X sale too, I have it in Nikon Z, and the 50mm M43 version, best Macro lens I've ever used.

Got my copy today. It's a solid instrument.
Curious if I use the 1.4 teleconverter. Is there any issue with compatibility or potential damage?

Yes, it is bulky and heavy. I'll see over time if I can deal with that.
Besides I may need to tripod it. The focus DOF is very short.

One thing I noted is it seems to end up overexposed. Also my Irix 11mm seems to end up underexposed.
Could this be because they are designed for full frame?

I think I found the issue with the lens hood fit.
I'll post photos here this weekend of the solution.
