If it’s in good shape it will blow you away. Fantastic lens in my opinion.

Well, it was just delivered. Lens only was bouncing around loose in a brown box. Somewhere along the way it received enough bump(s) to have jarred the lens hood and cap off. I've read about others experiencing this "packing" experience from Amazon and am pissed and disappointed. Part of what attracted me to the "like new" lens listing was that it was described a coming in it's original packaging. Far from it. But wait, there's more. I picked up the lens, and the insides are rattling, seems like the internal front elements and other pieces are completely loose, bouncing around inside. Such a shame, beautiful lens.

That's a shame. I recently ordered a "very good" Oly 12-60 from Amazon and it arrived in a bubble wrap envelope without any other packing material. The lens had some sticky substance all over it and the autofocus was screwed up. Such a pain. At least the return was easy.

Sorry to hear that. It's the second lens I've returned to Amazon via Amazon Warehouse.

Ack, bad luck, sorry that this one was a stinker. Unfortunately the AW grading scheme is wildly inconsistent. I think the data here thus far has been much better than bad, there are the occasional cases like these.
