For anyone pursuing this lens, the posted link appears to take you to an Amazon listing for the new lens. A few lines down the listing you will see "Available at a lower price from other sellers that may not offer free Prime shipping". The "other sellers" is a hyperlink that opens up a sidebar with other purchasing options. Scrolling down the list you will find the Amazon Warehouse item (it was still available at 6:45 EST today). I picked this lens up, I’m going to be selling some gear and I didn’t get a kit lens with my K7, so that’s going to my daughter. I’ll for sure try it out on the k3-3 I got last week but thanks for posting! However I’ll have to block your username now so I don’t buy anything else 🤣

Thanks for the clarifier - Id posted from my phone and apparently the share link button didn’t land quite where I’d hoped.

It showed up today, looks good but unfortunately doesn’t want to focus :-( other than at 18mm it just hunts back and forth through the focus range. It never locks. Doing it both on a k3-3 and a K7. So bummed right now. Thoughts?

Agree. At least Amazon has a fairly easy return process.

I've experienced a couple pretty cruddy lens purchases on Amazon Warehouse, and read many similar reviews. Amazon must make money at it regardless as their qc and shipping of lenses hasn't seemed to improve.

Sorry to here about the bad experience.

Out of curiosity I tried the lens in live view mode. Even in poor light it locks in. Really scratching my head on this one.
