Those are some very questionable values...

Unless the body is inoperable, better to purchase the open box and privately sell, or keep as a backup.

That's my thoughts on it.

Weird choices too. K100d $150, k-1 $250?

It seems they did not spend more than 5 minutes on this trade in program.
Strange that a 645z, 645D, K-70, KF, K-7, K10D, K20D, K-01, K-x, K-m and K200D would only give $100 when the older K100D give $150.

And what is a K-100? Is that another name for K110D?

As an European I'm often jealous of the deals that US pentaxians are offered.
This is not one of those times. Haha - ohhh my!

K100D is the “normal” Version. It’s full featured. The k110D is the same camera without the shake reduction feature.

Looking at eBay sales the K-50 looks fine.

Especially when you figure in 13% for Final Value and PayPal fees.

Admittedly an open box K-3III from Adorama is a better deal but for the K-1II which has no open box units available this is a fair deal for a K-50.

I do think that is an odd upgrade but that is a different issue.

It doesn't specify that it has to be a working camera, and I'm sure they'll destroy it once they get it as it's what manufacturers usually do.

So if you have a broken camera I'd say it's worth it...

Depending on the model. Frankly even a broken k-1 or KP is likely worth more than they are offering. A broken k100d is a good choice to trade in.

The prices remind me of what most brick and mortar/and online stores offer. Actually, Ricoh/Pentax seem to even be offering a little more...

If my K-30 had the aperture block I *might* think about this but it is fine so no deal, Pentax!

Yeah but they have K100 and K-100 besides K100D listed. There is no DSLR named K100 or K-100.

And they list a "K5-5II" in the "Eligible Trade-In Credits" banner, in addition to a K5 and a K-5 IIs.

I suppose we shouldn't nit-pick, but one would expect that Ricoh Imaging would proof-read the material before posting it.

Might be a reasonable deal for someone who has a broken camera.
