I’m in no way related to this sale. I also don’t know if this price is good or bad for this very rare item.

What a beauty! Considering that the base camera itself cost $10k when this special edition came out, I'd say it's not a bad price for a collector's item.

that is hot...

didn't I read that the special finish could cause allergic reactions, too?

That is a sexy beast of a camera. It might be worth taking a Benadryl to play with that one. LOL!

I did not see that but it is hand lacquer painted and each one is unique.

Funny you say that. Before I ever posted it - I sent her a private message to make sure she didn't want to buy it. I didn't want someone else swooping in if this was on her radar. It's pretty but too pricey for a whim.

Yes, my interest was piqued, but THE. VIRIDIAN was not amused.

If I win Powerball, I'll grab this one and apologize to my other babies.

Even for a rare special edition I think it's hard to justify the original 645D at that price.

Guess that's why the listing is still going strong

I did not win Powerball. So this will stay on seller's shelf and THE. VIRIDIAN will not be jealous.

The listing is already there for several month I think. I've looked at it quite a few times.
Some years ago I had the pleasure to hold one of these rare cameras in my hand (in Japan).
It is an absolute beauty, just wonderful ...

The seller is located in Scotland ... I'll be riding on my motorbike to Scotland again next April ... so maybe??

Really beautiful edition. Still makes me wonder why they never made a flashy 645Z special edition version.

Ugly, IMO. I'm a Z owner, and am kind of appalled at this livery.
