Well Rob, you got a great deal @$570. I went shopping for one today and it was $788 at AMZ. That is a ton of $$ over what you got it for a few weeks ago. They have an open box for $635 if anyone is interested.

I'm not hurting for lenses. Will just wait to see what pops up used. If anyone has a mint used copy selling in the low 5's write me!

Went back to take another look at AMZ's open box 43 a few minutes later and it looks to be sold. Can't dilly dally it seems.

Ouch! Even at $788, I would say it is still a decent value, considering the quality and the construction. Just think how much it would cost if it had the Leica name on it.
