Hopefully, this will become the definitive thread for tracking the price of a new body-only Pentax K7.

The best price is currently at Beach Camera, when you figure in Bing Cash Back. The listed price is $939, but if you have a Bing Cash Back account and pay with Paypal, you get 8% off, bringing the price to $863.88.

Please reply to this thread if a better price appears, or if this price is no longer available and another vendor has the best price.

Just a follow-up to my last posting. I've been looking for a K7 so I've been following prices with great interest, obviously. I was a bit bummed about Bing not working with eBay right now, so I looked at other avenues since most other stores like B&H, Adorama, etc are cheaper than the lowest eBay seller right now (Beach @899)

So I decided to go for the deal I posted above. If you go through Bing, the price on the product page is $840.99, plus $7.99 ground shipping. But in the meantime, while I was checking out their store and policies on their website, I noticed they have another sitewide special right now 5% off everything using the code 'MOMSDAY' at checkout. That brought the cart total to 798.94 plus shipping for a total of $806.93 shipped.

A few minutes after placing the order, I got a confirmation from Bing for $50.33 cash back. That brings the net on this camera to $756.60. I think that would by far have to make it the best deal out there on a new K-7 right now.

Only thing is, buyer beware of course. They could always come back and not honor the Bing cash because of the Mothers Day special offer...if they don't it won't bother me...as IMHO even at $806 shipped, it's a sweeteart of a deal.

Tri-State had 4 K-7's, now 3 because I got one. Brand new, was EBoo price but I called and got the guy at the store. 809.97 !!!!!!! That made my mind up for me.
I have been thinking about one since they came out but my K20D has been doing a better job then I can. I just used the excuse that my wife needed a better camera then the ist DL !!!! Like how I put it on the wifey. Even though she said she didn't need the K20 to use. but I know better. Just ask me !!!
Just wanted to share that price.

If you go through BING, the Electronic Expo price is $977. If you go through amazon, how do you get the bing and/or Electronic Expo 5% discount?

I'm not sure about this place. I've contacted them on a few things (this camera and one i was buying for my dad) and they refuse to put anything in writing. Furthermore, most (if not all) of the reviews of them on reseller ratings are from people with only 1 review. Do a Google search for fumfie and check out some other reviews besides reseller ratings and epinions...They are more mixed.

I'm not saying you won't get a working camera, but I'm not 100% on this place or else I would have already pulled the trigger...
