FYI - Found 50-200mm Pentax DA-ED for $166 · 09:46 AM

ShopNBC has new DA 50-200mm ED zoom lens for $166 plus $12.99 shipping.

~$179 delivered.

It came and was brand new in box, and a great lens.

Thought I would mention it here because I have not seen this lens under $200 at the major retailers and stumbled onto this good price at ShopNBC here:

That would be a great price for the new WR version of this lens - for the original version, new and used alike go for $110-150 on ebay, with the WR starting about the price you referenced. The heads-up is always appreciated though!

Yeah... the 50-200 was going for $100 or less around this time last year, barely used...

True, it was cheap but not anymore. I didn't want used.

New they are now over 200+ and used for $169 doing the ebay dance.

Anyways - WR version is nice but I haven't seen it new anywhere from a reputable vendor for less than $219.

The "regular" version I bought I cannot find new at this time for a better price:
