eBay no longer part of Bing Cash Back
Posted By: harmonica2, 05-01-2010, 11:26 AM

eBay is no longer part of the Bing Cash Back program, so goodbye to those 8% rebates. This alters the calculation for the "best" deal for various Pentax cameras and lenses, so some previous posts may be outdated.

indeed, bing doesn't seem to work with ebay any more. but how do you know? is it official? any credible source? (they might be preparing something big for Mother's Day)

I would also like to know if this is official. MS/Bing cashback has disappeared altogether for weeks at a time in the past. I believe twice. In each case, it came back after a hiatus.

since I reached the lifetime limit for the ebay/bing cashback (foolishly didn't realize there was a limit and used it for stupid little stuff - can still use the cashback through retailers on the bing.com shopping pages though), I am hoping they are taking a hiatus to re-work the contract so that I would be able to use it again (40 uses really isn't much when it becomes your go-to whenever you need odds and ends, I went through it in less than a year buying stuff from my K-x to printer cartridges).

The best thing about the program is that it adds (or, added...) a little bit of extra value to individual sellers when using the buy-it-now option.

Is there any way of knowing how many times I used bing with ebay?

Log into your Bing cashback account. It has the entire history of your cashbacks.

Woo hoo!!!!! it is back, and its working for me again, meaning they have either removed the lifetime ebay limit, raised it, or reset it!

for now...

Enjoy it while you can. I just got an email from Bing that the cash back program is to be discontinued July 30.
