Extended warranty question

The extended warranty for the K-5 indicates that, "NOT VALID IN FLORIDA. THE COMMONWEALTH OF VIRGINIA OR WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW." But what does this really mean? Does it mean:

Cannot be bought by a citizen living in Florida?
If so, is it impossible to order it if in Florida, or would you be unable to register the camera warranty if you provide a Florida address?
Could you buy it and then register it with a Georgia address, for example?

Cannot be utilized by someone living in Florida?
If so, what if you bought it while living in Georgia, for instance, and then moved to Florida? Could you then use it? You would now have a Florida address.

Cannot be taken to a repair facility in Florida?
Not really relevant, since I don't think there is an authorized Pentax repair center in Florida.

How is it enforced?

Living in Florida, this comes up every once in awhile. It is frustrating with an expensive camera having an inexpensive but quality warranty.

Hello,

The issue has to due with Sales Taxes and laws regarding contracts. Long story short, we cannot sell a service plan to a resident of in you case Florida. If you had someone purchase it for you as a gift or purchased it in our store, you can take advantage of the plan. The issue is the sale with an out of state vendor.

Thank you, Chuck, that imformation helps a lot. I see that the problem is on the sales side and not the registration of the warranty side.
