I have the full version, and IMO, it's the best noise-reduction tool out there. Since it also works as an automatic photoshop plugin, it's probably also one of the easiest to use.

I cannot thank you enough for mentioning this software. I just downloaded the trial version and was blown away.

Here is a side by side of a grainy pic I took. See if you can tell which one has been cleaned up.

Great Prog, works very good in auto, better using advanced settings.
Using the Component Veiwer you can adjust noise levels individually for each channel.

If by imperfect you mean taking a handheld shot in the dark with a 1.5 second shutter speed @ iso800. Then yes...... I took an imperfect photo.

Phone line? You should put "cave" or "1992" for your location.

I use Noise Ninja. When I was researching noise reduction tools, The 2 best were Noise Ninja and Neat Image.

I basically tossed a coin to decide.

I have the Neat Image trial version. I have the Noise Ninja full version. I only recently got the full version. I love the batch feature in both (not in trial version though). I do not have any info on "comparison" between the 2.
