I will tell I promise..Go look at the images and tell me what you think...Just want to see what you have to say before answering. OK?

I think that they are extremely good.
But what I'm saying is that I'm feeling very stupid right now, for I can't see what the shaking adds to the picture. I'm sure it's something since you mention it, but it's well beyond me to see it in the picture.

I tried looking for fuzzy edges or something, but the pictures look perfect.

Regards,
Beej80

The "Aura" Effect

Unfortunately the images are not large enough. But I was shooting at 1/8th of a second mixing HMI cinema lights, tungsten and flash. You get a very subtle line around the body similar to a ring flash but not as obvious or over used.

Here is another more flagrant example...

ok... so the shaking was actually for the aura effect, right? cool. btw, i'm a total noob here... if you were shooting at 1/8 then how come the photo is not blurry at all? do you just shake the camera before clicking or click while shaking?

Please "read" what I said I used for the lighting. "Watch" the video closely..Your not getting off that easy..We are suppose to be artists, photographers good "observers". You tell me why it can be blurry and sharp in area's chosen...That was a hint.

Ben
