EXIF file analyse tool

ExposurePlot
ExposurePlot (former Focalplot)

It checks all the photos in a directory for EXIF information.

Focal length/ ISO/ apecture/ shutterspeed distribution graph for number of times used.

Good to know about your photography habits and decide what lens to buy next.

But it can only read JPEG not DNG.

This is really a cool little application. I currently use LR and it can do the filtering so you can see a library of images based on Camera model and/or lens used but it can't graph the results. I hope he supports DNG in the future. I would use it then.

Yes I also think this is an awesome tool to curtail our runaway LBA's
I was lusting after a high quality telezoom that could take a full frame picture of a mosquito at 10 yards and once you blow it up to 100% you can clearly see what that mosquito is thinking.....
But then when I ran my files through "exposureplot" to my suprise about 65% of all my pictures were bunched up towards the wide angle end of the graph, and my teleshot were only about 8 % and the rest in the middle.
I know now that as a replacement for the kit lens a DA 16-45 would be more usefull .

I got an email response from the author about adding DNG support, here is his reply.
Sorry for the late reply, my (very old) computer crashed and it took quit a while to get it running again.

About your question, only if the donations are increasing dramatically then maybe, but for now, if I find some ready PNG procedure for Delphi I might implement it but I dont have the time anymore to figure it out myself.

BTW my Minolta can creates a *.thm file (small jpg thumbnail) or even a full *.jpg when I'm shooting raw, Exposureplot uses the thm or jpg file to get the data it needs, maybe the Pentax has a similar option you can use.

Regards
Paul
